For parents

A personal tutor for your child, at any hour.

Niera finds what your child is missing, teaches it from the books they already study, and keeps them on their studies. At 7 a.m., after school, or at 1 a.m. before a test.

A phone at 11:02 at night: a student asks why SN1 prefers tertiary substrates, and the answer comes from their own module, with the page it used and the mechanism drawn. 11:02 pm Haloalkanes, unit 10 Why does SN1 prefer tertiary substrates? From your sources The slow step makes a carbocation, and tertiary ones are the most stable. Your module, page 1 Drawn, step 2 of 3

It starts by finding the gap

A wrong answer is a clue. When your child gets a question wrong, Niera names the exact idea behind the mistake, the marks it is costing and what to revise next.

It also reads the habit behind a mistake, such as changing a right answer in the last few minutes. That part is rolling out through the beta.

Question 6 of a Haloalkanes chapter test, marked wrong, traced back to the missing idea, carbocation stability, costing 8 marks, which is built on hyperconjugation, to revise next. Question 6, marked wrong Haloalkanes chapter test why? The missing idea Carbocation stability Costing 8 marks on this test built on Hyperconjugation Revise next, then three questions

Built to teach, and to keep them at it

  • It answers from your child's own books and notes, and opens the page each answer used, so nothing rests on a confident guess.
  • When an explanation has not landed twice, it stops rewording and draws the idea step by step, or hands over an experiment to run.
  • In study mode it gives a hint when asked rather than the answer, and the clock pauses while they think.
  • It is made for studying. A question from outside the syllabus gets a polite no and the reason, so an evening of study stays one.
  • Every answer is labelled with where it came from, their own books or the knowledge base, and when Niera cannot answer, it says why.

Learning by trying

Some ideas only land when you try them. Your child can fire alpha particles at gold foil, lift an electron in Bohr's atom, turn any of 669 molecules in 3D, and watch a reaction mechanism drawn one step at a time.

Then they practise, from 22,000+ questions and 359 real past papers marked the way each exam marks them, with a list of what to revise built from the questions they got wrong.

One place to learn at home, for years

A tutor to talk to, their own books and notes, practice, real papers, experiments and revision notes, all in one app. It follows the school curriculum and the entrance exams together, from the NCERT books of class 11 and 12 to JEE Main, JEE Advanced and NEET, in physics, chemistry, maths and biology, so the same tutor stays with them from the first chapter to the exam hall.

Beyond the syllabus Coming

The same tutor, for skills school does not test: coding, spoken English, and reasoning and aptitude. They are coming to Niera Study with the same rules: grounded, honest about where your child stands, and in the language you speak at home.
