Terms
Terms of use
Last updated 24 September 2026
These terms cover this site, niera.in, and the app, Niera Study at study.niera.in. Using either means you accept them, so they are written to be read in a few minutes.
Who we are
Niera is an early-stage company based in India. You can reach us at lalit@niera.in.
The beta
Niera Study is in beta. It opens by invitation and is free during the beta. Parts of it will change while we build, and features marked as rolling out are not finished.
Your account
An account is for one student. Keep access to your email and your Google account safe, since signing in to them signs you in to Niera. You can delete your account from the app at any time.
What you upload
What you upload stays yours. You let us store it and process it only to run Niera for you, as the privacy page describes. It is never shown to another student or added to a shared library. Upload only material you are allowed to use for your own study.
What an answer can promise
Niera is an AI tutor. Every answer says where it came from, and Niera says so when it cannot answer, but it can still be wrong. It does not replace your teachers or the exam's official notices: check dates, syllabus and rules with the body that sets the exam. We cannot promise a score or a rank.
Fair use
Use Niera for your own learning. Do not:
- try to break into it, overload it, or get round its limits;
- copy it in bulk, scrape it, or resell access to it;
- upload anything unlawful, or use it to harm or harass anyone.
We may suspend an account that does these things, and we will tell you why.
Our part
We keep Niera running as well as we can, but during the beta it comes as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from relying on an answer without checking it.
Changes
We may change these terms as Niera grows. The date at the top says when they last changed, and if a change matters, we will say so in the app before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
